In crittografia, mwbqMDC2 (mwbgModification Detection Code) è una mwbwfunzione di hash con un mwcaoutput pari a mwcq128 bit.

Per ragioni di brevetti, il supporto per MDC2 è disabilitato in mwcwOpenSSL e in molte mwdadistribuzioni Linux.
